Sustainable business is business that is ethical, socially responsible and environmentally friendly. While sustainability in business is still only a competitive advantage today, it will become a prerequisite for survival in the near future. Public attitudes are changing not only in terms of the choice of goods or services, but also in terms of the choice of employer, with a growing preference for companies involved in sustainability initiatives and a growing awareness among consumers and customers, as well as increasing pressure on companies from external stakeholders, especially from suppliers and partners, who are also influenced by legal requirements. Another important aspect is the commitment of investors and financial institutions to take into account the sustainability status of companies when deciding on the terms and conditions of financial or investment assistance. In addition, the importance of sustainability in business is also influenced by the increasing regulation by the European Union (EU) to meet the EU Green Deal targets and the general market situation.

It is also an opportunity to get better access to credit, attract investors, create a better business image, build trust with partners and suppliers, and attract and retain the best professionals.
